Small buttons control it, which are difficult to press with gloved hands, and menu icons are not entirely intuitive to read. Designed first by a family of seven surfers in California, this device resembled something like a surfboard and most importantly offered the same thrills as surfing. A breath-taking view of the vortex inside and above a large wave, taken with the new camera, can be seen in one of the videos I've watched.
