The disadvantages of rental property investing is that you can have a not-so-good tenant that can damage your property or even worse, can reach the point that you don't have any tenant anymore. Positive cash-flow occurs when a propertys rental income exceeds the owners costs to maintain the property. As with the story of the talents in Luke 19, God expects us to make a good return on His investments, and you can do that in real estate.
