Income from "flipping" is generally considered EARNED income, NOT investment income, and wouldn't be subject to the surtax ( They already hit us wholesalers hard as dealers). The price of real estate has  continuously risen to amazing levels and this is expected to continue. As often told, do not just stick with one marketing strategy.
