The song "Apple Orchard" was showcased on a Pitchfork Media Music mixtape in September 2006. In Oct 2006 the band's self titled debut record, Beach House, was launched through Car-Park Records. That year, Pitchfork Media ranked it 16th on its Finest Albums list. On March 7, 2012 the group streamed a new tune, "Myth", out of their website. The album Blossom premiered on May 15, 2012 via Sub Pop. Another song in the record, "Lazuli", was launched on April 13, 2012.[14] Beach-House was showcased on the cover of Issue #80 of the Fader. A music video for "Lazuli" was released on June 6, 2012.[16] It was directed by Allen Cordell, who also directed the movie for "Walkin the Park" from Teen Dream. A music-video for the track "Crazy" has also been launched.
