The song "Apple Orchard" was highlighted on a Pitch Fork Media Music mixtape in August 2006. Through Car-Park Records the group's self-titled Beach House, debut record, was launched in October 2006. That yr, Pitchfork Media rated it 16th on its Finest Albums list. On March 7, 2012 the band streamed a new tune, "Myth", out of their website. The album Bloom was launched on May 15, 2012 via Sub Pop. Another song from the record, "Lazuli", was launched on April-13, 2012.[14] Beach-House was featured on the cover of Concern #80 of the Fader. A musicvideo for "Lazuli" premiered on June 6, 2012.[16] It was directed by Allen Cordell, who also directed the movie for "Walk in the Playground" from Teenager Dream. A music video for the track "Crazy" has also been released.
