The song "Apple Orchard" was featured on a Pitch Fork Media MP3 mixtape in July 2006. Through Carpark Records the band's self-titled debut album, Beach House, was launched in Oct 2006. Pitchfork Media ranked it sixteenth on its Greatest Records list, that year. On March 7, 2012 the group streamed a new song, "Myth", from their website. The album Blossom premiered on May 15, 2012 via Pop. Another song from the record, "Lazuli", was released on April 13, 2012.[14] Beach-House was showcased on the cover of Concern #80 of the Fader. A music-video for "Lazuli" premiered on June 6, 2012.[16] It was directed by Allen Cordell, who also directed the video for "Walk-In the Park" from Teen Desire. A music-video for the track "Crazy" has also been introduced.
