Pitchfork Media rated it sixteenth on its Finest Records list that yr. On March 7, 2012 the group streamed a fresh tune, "Fantasy", from their website. The album Bloom was launched on May 15, 2012 via Sub Pop. Another tune in the record, "Lazuli", was released on April 13, 2012.[14] Beach-House was featured on the cover of Problem #80 of the Fader. A music-video for "Lazuli" premiered on June 6, 2012.[16] It was directed by Allen Cordell, who also directed the video for "Walkin the Playground" from Teen Dream. A music-video for the track "Wild" has additionally been launched.
