The tune "Apple Orchard" was showcased on a Pitchfork Press Music mix tape in July 2006. Through Car-Park Records the band's self-titled debut album, Beach House, was released in October 2006. Pitchfork Media rated it 16th on its Greatest Records list, that yr. On March 7, 2012 the group streamed a brand new song, "Fantasy", from their site. The record Bloom premiered on May 15, 2012 via Sub Pop. Another tune from your record, "Lazuli", was released on April 13, 2012.[14] Beach House was showcased on the cover of Concern #80 of the Fader. A musicvideo for "Lazuli" was released on June 6, 2012.[16] It was directed by Allen Cordell, who also directed the movie for "Walkin the Park" from Teenager Dream. A music video for the track "Outrageous" has also been introduced.
