The tune "Apple Orchard" was highlighted on a Pitch Fork Press Music mix-tape in July 2006. Through Carpark Records the band's self titled debut record, Beach House, was released in October 2006. That yr, Pitchfork Media rated it sixteenth on its Finest Records list. On March 7, 2012 the group streamed a fresh song, "Myth", out of their site. The record Blossom premiered on May 15, 2012 via Pop. A second song in the record, "Lazuli", was launched on April-13, 2012.[14] Beach House was featured on the cover of Concern #80 of the Fader. A musicvideo for "Lazuli" premiered on June 6, 2012.[16] It was directed by Allen Cordell, who also directed the movie for "Walk-In the Park" from Teenager Desire. A music-video for the track "Outrageous" has also been released.
