The tune "Apple Orchard" was featured on a Pitchfork Media MP3 mixtape in August 2006. Through Car-Park Records the group self-titled Beach House, debut album, was launched in October 2006. That yr Media rated it 16th on its Finest Records list. On March 7, 2012 the group streamed a fresh tune, "Myth", on their site. The record Bloom premiered on May 15, 2012 via Pop. Another tune from the album, "Lazuli", was released on April 13, 2012.[14] Beach-House was showcased on the cover of Issue #80 of the Fader. A musicvideo for "Lazuli" was released on June 6, 2012.[16] It was directed by Allen Cordell, who also directed the video for "Walkin the Playground" from Teenager Dream. A music-video for the track "Outrageous" has also been launched.
