The tune "Apple Orchard" was featured on a Pitchfork Press Music mix tape in August 2006. In October 2006 the group self-titled debut album, Beach-House, was launched through Car Park Records. Pitchfork Media rated it 16th on its Greatest Albums list, that year. On March 7, 2012 the band streamed a brand new song, "Myth", from their site. The album Bloom was launched on May 15, 2012 via Sub Pop. Another song in the album, "Lazuli", was launched on April-13, 2012.[14] Beach House was featured on the cover of Issue #80 of the Fader. A musicvideo for "Lazuli" was launched on June 6, 2012.[16] It was directed by Allen Cordell, who also directed the movie for "Walkin the Park" from Teen Desire. A music-video for the track "Outrageous" has also been introduced.
