The tune "Apple Orchard" was featured on a Pitch Fork Press Music mixtape in August 2006. Through Car-Park Records the group self-titled Beach-House, debut record, was launched in October 2006. Pitchfork Media rated it 16th on its Finest Records list, that yr. On March 7, 2012 the band streamed a new tune, "Myth", on their site. The record Bloom was released on May 15, 2012 via Pop. Another tune in the record, "Lazuli", was released on April-13, 2012.[14] Beach-House was showcased on the cover of Concern #80 of the Fader. A music video for "Lazuli" was launched on June 6, 2012.[16] It was directed by Allen Cordell, who also directed the video for "Walkin the Park" from Teen Desire. A music-video for the track "Outrageous" has also been released.
