The song "Apple Orchard" was featured on a Pitchfork Press Music mix tape in August 2006. Through Car Park Records the band's self titled debut album, Beach-House, was launched in Oct 2006. Pitchfork Media rated it sixteenth on its Greatest Records list, that yr. On March 7, 2012 the band streamed a fresh tune, "Myth", from their website. The record Blossom premiered on May 15, 2012 via Sub Pop. Another tune from the album, "Lazuli", premiered on April 13, 2012.[14] Beach House was showcased on the cover of Issue #80 of the Fader. A musicvideo for "Lazuli" premiered on June 6, 2012.[16] It was directed by Allen Cordell, who also directed the video for "Walk in the Park" from Teenager Desire. A music video for the track "Crazy" has also been launched.
