The tune "Apple Orchard" was showcased on a Pitchfork Media Music mix-tape in August 2006. Through Car-Park Records the group's self-titled debut album, Beach-House, was released in October 2006. Pitchfork Media rated it 16th on its Greatest Records list, that year. On March 7, 2012 the band streamed a fresh tune, "Myth", out of their website. The record Blossom premiered on May 15, 2012 via Sub Pop. Another tune from the album, "Lazuli", was launched on April-13, 2012.[14] Beach-House was featured on the cover of Issue #80 of the Fader. A music-video for "Lazuli" was launched on June 6, 2012.[16] It was directed by Allen Cordell, who also directed the video for "Walkin the Playground" from Teen Dream. A music-video for the track "Crazy" has additionally been introduced.
