The tune "Apple Orchard" was showcased on a Pitch Fork Media Music mix-tape in July 2006. Through Carpark Records the band's self-titled Beach-House, debut album, was released in Oct 2006. That year Media ranked it 16th on its Finest Records list. On March 7, 2012 the group streamed a new song, "Fantasy", on their site. The album Bloom premiered on May 15, 2012 via Sub Pop. A second song from your record, "Lazuli", premiered on April 13, 2012.[14] Beach House was featured on the cover of Concern #80 of the Fader. A music video for "Lazuli" premiered on June 6, 2012.[16] It was directed by Allen Cordell, who also directed the video for "Walkin the Playground" from Teenager Dream. A music-video for the track "Crazy" has also been released.
